Crate training is generally considered one of the fastest, and best, ways you can train your puppy to teach them not to go to the bathroom in the house. Crate training takes advantage of one of the strong instincts of your pitbull: that they will not go to the bathroom in their own personal space if it can be avoided. Having a crate for your puppy will then mean that it will hold when it wants to go to the bathroom. Pay attention to your puppy's behavior and when they get finicky, you can put your puppy on a leash and take it outside.
French poodles were originally used as hunting dogs, but, because their thick coats proved a problem in the bush and water, their owners started clipping them. They left hair on the ankles to protect against rheumatism, which is why poodles sometimes appear to have unusual haircuts.
This is a good time to use positive reinforcement so your pitbull will learn that this is a good action.
Every time you take your puppy out to go to the bathroom, give a treat and praise every time your puppy does so. This will help reinforce that outside is the place to go to the bathroom. After that the pitbull can run freely in the house until it needs to go again, which for some really young puppies can be as often as every hour, but later as they age. Keep a close eye on your pet to let them out when they really need to go.
Originating in Germany, the name Affenpinscher means, "monkey-like terrier". However, in France the breed is described as the "Diablotin Moustachu" or "moustached little devil". Both describe the appearance and attitude of this delightful breed.
There are several factors you need to keep in mind while crate training your pitbull:
Only use the crate when you are going to be home for the entire time of confinement. Pitbulls are social creatures, and you should never have them in a closed crate more than two hours, or while you're away from home--even if it's only for a short time.
Don't put the crate away from everyone. Pitbulls want to be part of the family, so even in a crate they will be much happier in a room full of people than off to the side when they can't see anyone.
After your pitbull is successfully housebroken, remove the door from the crate. Now your pitbull has its own private space and can come and go in the house as it pleases.
Rhodesian ridgebacks have an actual ridge along the top of their backs. The ridge is made up of forward-growing hairs. This ridge gives the rhodesian ridgeback a unique and easily recognizable look.
If you keep these tips in mind and put in the due diligence the first couple months to get your pitbull on the right track, you will not only have a well trained house pet, but will save yourself more time in training and re-training.
Done effectively, crate training is the perfect way to train your pet to be a part of the family.
While most dogs shed, poodles are actually incapable of shedding. That fact makes them excellent house pets, since they don't get the furniture covered in fur. Also, due to the nature of their fur and the fact that they do not shed, most people with dog allergies aren't allergic to poodles.
Beagles are known to be extremely social and cheerful dogs. They are expected to be so friendly that, even in dog shows, the judges expect them to be happy. They have points removed in the judging if they look to be unhappy.
