Most people who dress up their pitbulls do so for one of two reasons. The first reason is because the people find it funny. Let's face it, a pitbull wearing clothes is cute. It's a great topic for conversation. It's fun at holidays and parties. However, it's not necessarily as enjoyable for the pitbull. Pitbulls are individuals, just like human beings. Some pitbulls may tolerate dressing up better than other pitbulls do, especially if there is food or some reward involved, but that does not necessarily mean that they like it.
Chow Chows have very unusual mouths. When they are born they look normal enough. However, by the age of about 8 weeks, their gums and tongues go from pink to an odd shade of bluish-black.
The second reason people dress up their pets is for protection from the cold. This reason is completely valid for certain breeds. For instance, breeds such as the chihuahua originated in warmer climates. Therefore, if you own a DOG that is native to a warmer climate and you live in a colder climate they have trouble keeping warm in such weather. In these cases sometimes a DOG sweater is essential.
The phalne is essentially the same thing as a papillon, except that it has dropped spaniel-like ears. within the first couple of months after birth the ears will either lay flat or raise up permanently. The AKC considers the Phalne and the Papillon to be the same breed.
It is very important, no matter what the reason for dressing up the pitbull, to supervise the pitbull if it is dressed up. Pitbulls shouldn't be dressed up in anything that they could easily get tangled in or chew up and choke on. If the pitbull does not take well to being dressed up it could easily start running around trying to escape and get caught on doors or other objects.
Most adult Borzoi (russian wolfhounds) are almost mute. They bark only very rarely. They are gentle, sensitive dogs with gracious house-manners and a natural respect for humans. Their quiet nature makes them an ideal pet for families with children.
The bottom line is that if the pitbull needs clothes to go outside in the cold or seems to tolerate them ok at holidays or special occasions then there's no harm done. However, if the pitbull doesn't need clothes and doesn't seem to like them then they shouldn't be forced into it. Pitbulls, like people, don't usually like to be forced to do something for someone else's amusement.
The official name of the dogs we call pitbulls is the American staffordshire terrier. Pitbulls have been the preferred pet of many famous people including Fred Astaire, Vin Diesel, Alicia Silverstone, Michael J. Fox, and James Caan.
Alaskan Malamutes are known for being friendly and loyal. In fact, Chewbacca, the hairy Wookiee in the Star Wars movies and the name of the character of indiana Jones were both inspired by George Lucas' loyal dog Indiana, an Alaskan Malamute.

The Schipperke, or "little captain", is generally thought of as being solid black in the USA. However, they do actually come in other colors. The reason they are commonly thought to only be black, is that the black variety is the only type currently recognized by the AKC.
